Brownie Badge: "My Hero" by Eleanor

I think that what makes someone a hero is that a hero is someone that makes the world better and helps people. A hero risks their lives or gives their lives for other people to change the world for people around them. They are almost never rich.

My real-life hero is Jesus because He gave up his own life for us, to forgive our sins. He was the most amazing, pureful, non-sinning person ever.

We read a story about Mother Teresa she went out and helped people, and she lived in India and she lived with very, very poor people and we also learned about Malala.

Malala is a girl who fights for girls education and is amazing.  She is from Pakistan, some of the people are mean and they think that girls shouldn't be educated, and Malala was fighting. She is a fighter. Someone tried to kill her to make her stop going to school but she did not stop. Now she goes to school and she fights for girls to have education.

  1. What a thoughtful presentation. I am happy to see you took the time to learn about each of your heroes, so often these men and women who devote their lives to making the world a better place go unnoticed. Well done!
